The president and principal consultant is Cal Clupp, CD1, BSc, CISSP, CRISC. Mr. Clupp is an experienced Senior Consultant, analyst and manager with over 25 years of experience in Information System Security and Privacy, and over 40 years of experience in communications electronics, information system analysis and design and information technology.
Prior to starting his own company in Oct 2011, Mr. Clupp was the Director of Risk Management Consulting at Bell Canada’s Business Markets Professional Services Group. Prior to the purchase of Cinnabar Networks Inc. by Bell Canada, Mr. Clupp was a Senior Security Analyst and managed the Cinnabar Privacy Practice. Before this, he was a senior consultant at CGI and managed the Security Test and Evaluation Facility, which performed Common Criteria evaluations, Interact Device testing and other security testing and evaluation engagements. In his 21 years as an electronics technician and communications officer in the Canadian Forces, he was involved with many key IT projects, both in operations and strategic communications under the Defence Information Systems Organization (DISO). Mr. Clupp possesses excellent analytical and communications skills. He has completed numerous studies that he has presented to senior management. His strong technical and interpersonal skills and understanding of technically complex concepts and systems allow him to interact well with managers, users, and maintainers. Mr. Clupp is certified by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) as an Information System Security Professional (CISSP), possesses the ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification, has obtained qualification as a Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCI QSA), was certified as a Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 4 security evaluator, and had obtained certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP), although he no longer maintains this certification.
